The Problem

CrossMotion's existing internal system had accumulated usability debt over time — outdated visual patterns, confusing navigation, and interaction flows that didn't match how employees actually worked. The result was a platform that users avoided when possible, leading to incomplete data and operational inefficiency.

The redesign needed to address multiple functional areas simultaneously: dashboards with KPIs, data entry tables, personnel management, and both commercial and administrative modules — all used by different employee roles with different needs and levels of technical familiarity.

Collaborating within an Agile environment alongside developers, I ensured that redesigned screens were accompanied by detailed specs and component documentation to support accurate implementation.

Different user roles need different levels of detail. Dashboard views for management were designed at a summary level with drill-down capability, while operational screens for employees showed task-level detail upfront.

One of the biggest friction sources in the old system was that similar actions worked differently in different modules. The redesign enforced consistent patterns for editing, saving, filtering, and navigating — reducing the learning curve across the full system.
